We Ask About Green
Before the local elections in April 2024, we launched the We Ask About Green campaign, encouraging people to ask candidates questions about environmental issues. It engaged around 340 people from all over Poland. After the elections, we continued to support the participants.
Commit to Green – supporting cities in participatory greening of urban spaces
We launched the Commit to Green (Commit2Green) project at the beginning of 2025. The project aims to support cities in increasing their share of urban greenery with the participation of local communities. The intermediate goal of the project is to strengthen cities’ blue-green infrastructure and climate neutrality and resilience.
FuturHist – Tailored intervention solutions for future-proofing historic buildings
In January 2024, we launched a new project under the Horizon Europe Programme Climate, Energy, and Mobility. FuturHist aims to develop replicable retrofit solutions for historic buildings of the future. The project’s ambition is to shift the focus from individual buildings to building typologies. It will help create a more sustainable and energy-efficient built environment while preserving historic structures.
Green Leader – we support environment and climate action
The Green Leader is a program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, implemented by the Sendzimir Foundation. It aims to support local leaders who are taking action to protect the environment, promote sustainable development, and adapt their municipalities to the impacts of climate change. Its mission is to empower individuals and teams active in their communities to effectively respond to contemporary environmental challenges and create viable strategies for the future.
