The Sendzimir Foundation in cooperation with the City of Marki Office and local residents implemented the EcoMarki project – citizens’ local initiatives for the environment.

Project realised from June 2015 till December 2016.
There were 16 initiatives carried out such as participatory cleaning of the forests, the water reservoirs from accumulated rubbish, creating rain gardens, monitoring natural monuments (old trees). Thanks to the EcoMarki project, the awareness and the responsibility of residents for the place were enhanced. The EcoMarki project aimed to strengthen the activities of local communities for sustainable development.
