Ewelina Pękała

Experienced project coordinator, worked in the cultural institutions like the History Meeting House in Warsaw and the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity, where she managed the international projects. After several years of popularizing 20th-century history and culture, she became involved in the implementation of projects supporting sustainable urban development. From October 2020 she coordinates the Sendzimir Foundation’s project “Climate Mitigation in Heritage Buildings”.

She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She did Erasmus Mundus Master of Art’s Euroculture Programme at the University of Uppsala, as well as the Socrates Erasmus Exchange Programme at the University of Lund – Division of Ethnology.

She is passionate about visiting national parks in Poland and around the world. Interested in ecological education, protection of biodiversity and human-nature relations.
