Experienced project coordinator, worked in cultural institutions. In the History Meeting House in Warsaw and the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity, she managed international projects.
After several years of popularizing 20th-century history and culture, she became involved in the implementation of projects supporting sustainable urban development.
In the Sendzimir Foundation Ewelina is focused on energy renovation of historical buildings. She coordinated the Climate Mitigation in Heritage Buildings project from 2020 to 2022. She has recently transitioned to a new role as a communication coordinator in the FuturHist project realised under the Horizon Europe program. The project aims to future-proof historical buildings for the clean energy transition. She is also involved in other Foundation’s activities. In 2023, she supported the implementation of the Urban River Valleys Ecosystems project, which aimed to assess the potential of ecosystem services in mitigating anthropogenic climate change.
She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Ewelina did the Erasmus Mundus Master of Art’s Euroculture Programme at the University of Uppsala; as well as the Socrates Erasmus Exchange Programme at the University of Lund – Division of Ethnology.
Passionate about visiting national parks in Poland and around the world. Interested in ecological education, protection of biodiversity and human-nature relations.
