Anna Bucka

Anna is a landscape architect who holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Her master’s thesis examined the ecological, social and economic functions of the Warsaw section of the Vistula River over time. In her research, she covers topics of sustainable urban development with a particular focus on the design of public spaces and brownfields in the city.

She gained expertise at the topoScape studio. She was involved in a number of projects including the revitalisation of the Warsaw Uprising Mound Park and the housing estate in a repurposed factory on Szwedzka Street in Warsaw. During her degree in Copenhagen, she was a guide on topics related to sustainability, energy efficiency in architecture, and nature based solutions.

She holds the Project Management Fundamentals PMI Certificate (2015) and the Green Roof Design Certificate (Polish Green Roofs Association, 2022). As a co-author, she conducted an urban study on information stress in public spaces in Warsaw under ZODIAK Warsaw Architecture Pavilion (2021). In a team, she organised local workshops for children on the theme of vegetation in art at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (2019).
