She graduated from the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. For many years, she has been involved in sustainable urban development, urban agriculture, and food security. Katarzyna has always had a close connection with the countryside, whose socio-economic transformations and environmental challenges deeply move her and motivate her to action. She graduated from the Polish School of Agroecology. It provided her with additional practical knowledge, particularly valuable in the era of climate change. She co-founded the “Symbioza” Centre for Environmental Education and a number of initiatives in the field of environmental education and public participation.
